After it's success in 2019 & 2023, the Australian Summer Grains conference is running a young leaders forum on Monday 7 July 2025. The forum will bring together students from universities across Eastern Australia into a forum with keynote speakers, graduate agronomists, as well as grains industry employers.
The forum will host a panel discussion with graduate agronomists and industry representatives as well as encouraging you to connect and network with a range of industry companies attending the conference.
Students will be provided with conference admission for the two days, 1 nights shared accommodation and meals. Bus transfers from Toowoomba to the Gold Coast will be available and depending on where applicants are from transfers may be organised from other northern New South Wales and south east Queensland.
There are a selected number of positions available and applicants should address the selection criteria questions and summarise in <300 words why you should be considered for this opportunity.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Current tertiary enrolment in studies in Agriculture, Science or Environment
2. Why your future is in agriculture?
3. Why are you interested in attending the Summer Grains Conference?
4. Why should you be selected for this opportunity?
