CALL FOR ABSTRACTS FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The Australian Summer Grains Conference 2027 will be held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast from 12 - 14 July. We are happy to announce that abstract submission for the conference is open. Please note that all abstracts are to be submitted online only.

The 2027 conference will once again be delivered through the successful joint venture partnership representing the major summer crops — sorghum, maize, sunflower, soybean and mungbean — while also expanding to include other aligned crops of cotton and canola.​​

Abstract Guidelines  

The theme of the 2027 Conference is “Transforming Challenges into Sustainable Farm Profitability – Taking Summer Grains to the World”. Abstracts will need to align with the overarching theme. Abstracts submitted must be original and not presented or published elsewhere. They should be no more than 300 words in length.

• Marketing and Economics  

• New and emerging crops  

• End users  

• Agronomy; Sorghum; Maize; Mungbean; Sunflower; Soybean

Abstracts will be considered for both oral and poster presentations. This decision will be made at the discretion of the program committee based upon relevance, contribution to summer grain crops and expressed interest by the crop groups.
