INTRODUCING AUSTRALIAN SUMMER GRAINS CONFERENCE

INVITATION FROM THE CHAIR

As Chair of the organising committee, I invite you to participate in the 5th Australian Summer Grains Conference to be held at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast on the new dates of 13-15 March 2023.

The 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019 conferences were an outstanding success promoting Australian summer grains to the world.  Which is why we  believe moving the timing  of ASGC to March 2023 will give us all a much better chance of ensuring we can conduct a safe and successful conference for delegates and sponsors and enjoy the beautiful destination that is the Gold Coast.

What we have learnt from the past two years is that as humans we enjoy nothing more than being together and sharing experiences, and that is one of the highlights of ASGC.

The 2023 event will again be hosted by the joint venture partners comprising sorghum, maize, sunflower, soybean and mungbean under the banner of “Sustainable, Resilient, Innovative, Profitable”. This conference will feature renowned scientists, marketers, growers and leading industry identities from overseas and within Australia.

The success of the 2019 Conference was largely attributed to an outstanding program featuring international speakers as well as leading Australian presenters from scientific, commercial and grower segments and our focus has been to build on this for the 2023 event through the inclusion of more young farmers and agronomists to the program.  The strong media and social networking program supported this success and will be continued for 2023.

Reflecting on 2019 attendee’s, full delegate and farmer grower registrations were the highest number present. This undoubtedly demonstrates Australian Summer Grains Conference is the place to be in 2023.

We look forward to seeing you on the Gold Coast in March 2023.
