Social Functions and Workshops

Please find below list of activities, workshops and social functions at this years Conference.

Golf

Sunday 6 July

Start: 12.00pm for 12.30pm tee off

Finish: 5.00 - 5.30pm (approx)

Play on a world class golf course. Great opportunity to network with friends and colleagues in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Join us for a shot-gun start at 1.00pm for 1.30pm tee off.

​

Cost: $100 (course fees and cart).  You may bring your own clubs or hire golf clubs.

Hire clubs start at $60/set. Top end are AP2’s and they are $70/set.

Young Leaders Forum

Monday 7 July

Registration Open: 8.30am

Start: 9.00am

Finish: 1.00pm

The forum will bring together students from universities across Eastern Australia into a forum with keynote speakers, graduate agronomists, as well as grains industry employers.

​

The forum will host a panel discussion with graduate agronomists and industry representatives as well as encouraging you to connect and network with a range of industry companies attending the conference. 

​

Scholarships are available for young leaders wanting to attend. More information can be found here.

This is a great chance to network with colleagues and sponsors that you may not have seen for 2 years.

Where: Lawn (weather dependent)

Join us on the lawn for an opportunity to meet new people or catch-up with people you have not seen for a few years.

Elders Conference Dinner & Awards

Wednesday 9 July

Start: 6.00pm

Finish: 10.00pm

Where: Ballroom

This is your time to celebrate.  There are no more conference sessions the following day.  As part of the proceedings we will be announcing the following winners:

Following the official proceedings you will be able to dance the night away with our band or take some timeout and relax with new friends.  For those sports fans, the 3rd State of Origin match will be played on the big screen. in the background.
